Meet Sara Jane
Hi, I'm Sara Jane.
I'm a former Labor & Delivery nurse, author, speaker, educator, and the founder of Bloom & Birth.
For much of my life, I've been drawn to moments of becoming.
As a nurse, I had the privilege of witnessing birth—one of life's most profound transitions. Again and again, I watched people discover strength, courage, intuition, and resilience they didn't always know they carried. Over time, I began to recognize that birth is about far more than bringing a child into the world.
Throughout our lives, we are continually invited to begin again.
Sometimes that beginning looks like welcoming new life.
Sometimes it looks like setting a boundary.
Leaving an unhealthy relationship.
Healing after loss.
Finding your voice.
Building a community.
Choosing hope.
Or simply remembering that you belong.
That understanding became the seed of Bloom & Birth.
As my own life unfolded, I found myself drawn beyond individual healing and toward a larger question:
What allows people—and communities—to truly flourish?
That question has led me through healthcare, lived experience, education, spirituality, nervous system healing, nature, advocacy, and countless conversations with people from many different walks of life. Again and again, I've found myself witnessing the places where dignity is protected—and the places where it quietly slips away.
Those experiences changed not only how I understood healing, but how I understood humanity.
Today, my work invites us to explore what becomes possible when people reconnect with themselves, strengthen their relationships, and help create communities where everyone has the opportunity to belong and flourish.
I believe meaningful change begins with curiosity.
With listening before assuming.
With honoring both science and lived experience.
With remembering that every person carries inherent worth, regardless of their circumstances.
At the heart of my work is a simple conviction:
Life deserves dignity.
For me, that has become more than a belief. It is a way of moving through the world.
It shapes how I teach.
How I speak.
How I write.
How I witness.
And how I hope to serve.
I often describe my work this way:
Offering dignity where people forgot it was supposed to exist.
Whether that looks like supporting someone through a life transition, speaking about healthcare and community, advocating for more compassionate systems, or simply creating space for honest conversations, my hope is always the same—to help people remember their own humanity and recognize it in one another.
Bloom & Birth is one expression of that hope.
It's a place where education meets compassion.
Where personal growth meets community.
Where healing meets action.
And where every conversation begins with the belief that people are worthy of dignity, connection, and belonging.
Whether you found your way here through a book, a conversation, a speaking engagement, a video, or someone who shared this work with you, I'm grateful you're here.
I look forward to exploring what helps us flourish—together.
Your timing is sacred.
You're right on time.
